Vision
Our vision is to become a R&D leader in virology fully exploiting our original and unique approaches in the discovery and development of novel antiviral targets to offer improved treatments for the benefit of patients suffering from viral diseases.
Corporate Strategy and Strategic Plan
In the latter part of 2007, Ambrilia adopted a new strategic plan, the primary objective of which is to progressively focus R&D activities solely on antivirals. The strategy aims to capitalize on the Company’s broad portfolio and original expertise in virology.
In 2008, strategy execution will seek to monetize non-core assets through divestment by asset sale or licencing partnership, which in turn will enable the Company to gradually accelerate its antiviral assets development. Entering 2009, Ambrilia should be in a position to fully exploit its original and unique targets in HIV and HCV and invest in the most promising programs.
Today, Ambrilia’s product portfolio comprises of oncology and antiviral assets, including two new formulations of existing peptides for cancer, a therapeutic peptide for prostate cancer, a targeted delivery platform for cancer, HIV protease inhibitor, integrase inhibitor and entry inhibitor programs, and a HCV polymerase inhibitor program.
